Gadot lassos 3-picture deal
Warner Bros’ new Wonder Woman, Israeli actress Gal Gadot, has signed on to not one but a trio of blockbuster films

Gal Gadot fans need not worry that the Israeli ingénue won’t have enough screen time in the upcoming Batman/Superman mega-flick. The model-turned-actress has signed on to play Wonder Woman in a three-picture deal with Warner Bros.
Gadot, who recently beat out a bevy of dark-haired actresses to be cast in the superhero caper as Diana Prince, AKA Wonder Woman, revealed her multi-picture contract on Wednesday night during an interview on Israeli television with entertainment host Guy Pines. She also disclosed her salary: a not-so-wondrous $300,000 per flick.
If Internet rumors are true, following Gadot’s turn as supporting superhero to Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman she’ll appear as Wonder Woman in a Justice League pic, followed by a standalone film. That means the “Fast and the Furious” actress, who has seen her fame skyrocket faster than a speeding bullet thanks to the casting news alone, is set to become a bona fide movie star once the triad is complete.
But it’s going to take some time: The release date for “Batman vs. Superman” has been pushed back from 2015 to 2016, and it’s possible that the following two films will be equally slow to open.
