IDF confirms drone strike in southern Lebanon killed Hezbollah operative

The IDF says it can confirm that a drone strike it carried out yesterday in southern Lebanon killed a Hezbollah operative.

The strike was carried out near the town of Taybeh.

According to the military, the operative was involved in collecting intelligence on Israeli troops in southern Lebanon and was involved in efforts to restore Hezbollah infrastructure in the area.

“The terrorist’s activities constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” the IDF adds.
