Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man has been arrested at Sydney Airport for allegedly going on an antisemitic rant at another passenger on a flight, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.
Australian Federal Police arrested the man, 19, following an overnight Virgin Australia flight from Bali, Indonesia, to Sydney, the publication says. Officers met the flight when it landed in the morning.
“There is no current or impending threat to the community,” the spokesperson said, according to the Morning Herald. “Further comment will be made at an appropriate time.”
The arrest occurs days after a terror shooting targeting a Jewish event at Sydney’s Bondi Beach killed 15 and injured dozens.
