Prosecutors said to indict 170 people so far for riots, 15 of them Jewish
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleProsecutors have filed indictments against 170 people involved in inter-ethnic rioting over the past 10 days, of which 15 are Jewish and the rest Arab, Haaretz reports.
Most of the indictments cite racist motives.
Police have arrested 1,319 suspects in the unrest, of which 252 are minors, the report says. The vast majority are Arab, while 159 are Jewish.
Of those arrested, 543 remain jailed.
