Doctor at forefront of virus fight to light Independence Day torch
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleCulture Minister Miri Regev announces that Prof. Galia Rahav, Head of the Infectious Disease Unit at the Sheba Medical Center, will light a torch at this year’s Independence Day celebrations in Mt. Herzl due to her work in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
The ceremony this year will be held without an audience due to social distancing rules.
