Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz will deliver a joint address from military headquarters in Tel Aviv following a massive rocket attack on central Israel by terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli officials over the past day have threatened to launch a wider campaign against Hamas and other terror groups in the Strip, including a potential ground invasion.

The address by Netanyahu and Gantz is due to begin shortly, their offices say.
